Where do the prices come from?

They are approximate reference prices: some are supermarket prices published by Numbeo and the rest are estimated from them. You can replace any of them with what you pay in “My prices”.
How do I use my own prices?

Tap an ingredient’s price in the results table, or open “My prices” to enter as many as you like. Your prices replace the system ones across the whole site.
What about salt, water or “to taste”?

They are not counted: their cost is negligible. If an ingredient isn’t recognized, you can pick it from the list and the choice is remembered.
